What size wheels are you using? Does having the same size front and rear beat larger rears?

No idea, as long as they're round I don't care.

Personally I would have though that larger wheels at the back would only increase the tendency to oversteer (which is bad enough as it is) - but I may be wrong.

Mine are the same all round (handy for balancing the wear as well).

What tyes are you running now? I gather the continentals that were put on mine by Ariel are shite.

Have had no problems with excessive oversteer since moving to bigger rears.

took one for a test drive but never followed up on it (needed a modicum of practicallity), so what are they like to live with (I still have a craving)?

The main difference is that you're really forced to wear a helmet which makes cars of this ilk far more bearable than without. If you wear ear plugs as well then it's even better - basically treat it like a motor bike with oversteer on tap. Having to put the 4 point harness on is a pain, but you need it.

They're also quite roomy in the cockpit with a bit of space up front in the nose for a few tools etc. Certainly okay for a weekend away if you toss the bag in with the passengers feet.

Also very economical on the road being so light (well mine is anyhow in standard tune).

But, you'd really only be buying it for sunny days to be honest.
