Turbo converted Nomad

Hi,

I have a reader's car thread going about it - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... but thought I'd shamelessly post a few photos here of my Ariel Nomad with turbo conversion.

It's running 380bhp and 345 fl/lbs (but has switchable modes for 260 - 315 and 380) and makes some good noises. We made a valved exhaust for it, so can be civilised or antisocial.

So far since the conversion I have driven it to Spain / Portugal, done a day on a Welsh rally stage, done plenty of local drives / forests and just did a trackday at Croft (and another next week at Pembrey with Ariel).

Absolutely love it. The chassis and set up takes the extra power no problem, and feels like the car I always wanted it to. It's slightly quicker than an Atom 4 (with 350bhp upgrade) in a straight line, and corners hilariously well.

These look so so fun. Do they all come with a lsd as standard? It seems a no brainer to buy a naturally aspirated one and turbo then, over paying the premium for a supercharged model.
