When you're out and about in your car, people always ask questions about it, many of these are asked again and again.

I'm creating an FAQ sheet you can print off and leave in the car so that you don't have to answer the same questions again and again...

It'll have the standard spec of a 220 Mk2 at the bottom, and these key points above:

where's it made
how much does it cost
how fast is it
what's the engine
how much does it weigh
what's the chassis made from
what's the gearbox

What other questions are you most frequently asked?

Do you work out?
Where did you get the money from to buy that?
Have you nicked it?
What do you do when it rains?
My mate's got a RS Turbo, do you wanna race?
Are you cold?

I have also had the "Is it the supercharged one" and my personal favourites "Did you build it yourself" and "Is it a kit car".

My favourite two questions so far:

- Is it front or rear-engined? (He was serious)
- Why didn't they consider the engine from the Volvo T50?

How about

"is that the one of off Top Gear"
"want to swap cars"
and of course the perennial
"What'll she do mister"

Some stock answers I give

How much ? about the same as a decent Ford Focus
How heavy ? Lighter than a formula 1 car (true)
Want to swap ? Call me when its raining

Bruce I was wondering if I could ask a cople of questions

where's it made
how much does it cost
how fast is it
what's the engine
how much does it weigh
what's the chassis made from
what's the gearbox

ill get my coat

But seriously one question I did ask the factory years ago was whether you could fit a crash helmet in the front pod/boot/whatever its called. They actually did not know as they had never tried it. I dont believe you can though you would know better than me.

I am pretty surprised the factory did not know that the boot is about half the size of a crash helmet. That kind of suggests they had either never looked at

i) the boot
or
ii) a crash helmet !
