I assume that most of you Atom owning boys have a wife or girlfriend.

I have not told my wife (who has been away in Sweden while all this has come to pass) about my Atomic plans yet, and whilst she will probably just groan when I tell her I am buying ANOTHER car, I am wondering what her reaction to the Atom will be.

What has been your experience?

How do the ladies react generally?

I know I will have trouble keeping my four year old car nut son out of it! I am already wondering how I can get hin in the passenger seat safely but still allowing him to see over the dash! A large poured seat may work!!!

Just tell your other half she'll get a great tan in the Atom, that'll keep her quiet

When it's delivered in her presence, just utter under your breath and audible to her

"God damn it, I didn't order this!"

Go in and pretend to make a phone call, then return as she's admiring the sleek looks!

It's easy peasy from that point on.

Assuming she will not be wearing a helmet in order to improve the tan...She will probably end up with spattered flies all over her teeth and face instead!

She is still recovering from 200mph in the SL65 so the Atom on twisty roads is bound to impress her!

Boys will be boys!

Brenda has had that blank expression women get when we "men" talk about our hobbies ever since last September when I first mentioned I was visiting the factory. I may as well have been watching grass grow in the garden!! I have had the car since January and so far she has not been in it (but the kids love it). About the amount of time I spend on this website and using the car Brenda always equates it to "at least he's not out doing something abnormal". I actually think she is happy that I am away so often at times. (Note must check how much milks in the fridge next time I get back from a trip away.)

Milkman huh!!!

My wife ran off with the butcher - she always said he gave her extra meat. Now I know what she meant!

I feel I was a bit harsh on Brenda. She has been great and is happy to see the back of me.

Only you would be up at this time of night whilst I try to complete the task of getting my name as last contributor on the whole page.
