Atoms seem to be holding their value very well at the moment and are selling secondhand before even making it onto the website. Has anyone got an opinion on how long this'll last? I only ask because I've got an Atom2 160 and was thinking of selling up after the summer while residuals are still high and then waiting for them to drop before getting a secondhand 220. Not a fool-proof plan, d'you think it'll work?

I think you'll be waiting a while for them to drop. As long as Ariel are only making say 60 Atoms a year the second hand market will be strong, but that also means that buying your new one will be costly, now's the time to sell.
If you have a rover powered Atom i'd sell it now while the sun's out and the atom's still a new and different looking car.

good, you should have no trouble selling it, but waiting for the prices of 220's to come down i think will take at least two years. best of luck
