The Ariel Atom Owners' Club has been made some offers by MSV - the company that owns and operates Brands, Oulton, Snetterton and Cadwell.

Firstly members can attend their trackdays individually. I've negotiated a 10% discount off the prices below...

"Participants in Club MSV track days will get a thorough briefing on vehicle preparation, track etiquette and racing lines, while brake boards and cones around the circuit will help beginners to master the track.

"Experienced instructors will be on hand throughout the day to offer advice and give in-car tuition while drivers tackle some of the most famous corners in the world like Paddock Hill Bend at Brands Hatch, Snetterton’s Russell Chicane and the Mountain at Cadwell Park.

"Many people are already regular track day enthusiasts with high levels of ability and specially developed cars, so for safety, Club MSV events are usually split into novice, intermediate and advanced sessions allowing drivers to be on circuit with cars and drivers of a similar pace.

"Currently on the calendar we have the following events scheduled, but new dates are often added depending on circuit availability, so please see our website for the latest details."

Club Brands Hatch
Wednesday 20th July Indy Circuit £195
Tuesday 2nd August Indy Circuit £195
Thursday 8th September GP Circuit £285
Wednesday 12th October Indy Circuit £195
Tuesday 10th November Indy Circuit £175

Club Oulton
Wednesday 31st August £195
Tuesday 20th September £195
Tuesday 18th October £195

Club Snetterton
Tuesday 16th August £130
Tuesday 13th September £130
Monday 24th October £130

Club Cadwell
Tuesday 11th October £115

Additional drivers £25 each
Passengers FREE
In-car instruction £25 per 20 minutes
Helmet hire £10

We've also been offered the opportunity to run an exclusive Atom only session at the following events:

Brands Hatch on the 2nd of August
Snetterton on the 16th of August
Oulton Park on the 31st of August
Cadwell Park on the 11th of October

However, we'd need at least 20 cars to make these viable and affordable. What do you think chaps?

Can you confirm whether "Club Cadwell" refers to the club circuit at Cadwell ...or merely a fancy, yet pointlessly confusing title given to the day by some marketing guru?

If its the former, then I'd rather spend half the money and have an evening session on the full circuit. The club circuit misses out the bits arguably best suited to Atoms - The Mountain (don't let your mate drive it - he'll crash), Hall Bends (I want a second bite at the bollards), Old Hairpin (you'll get overtaken there by a Triumph) and Barn Corner (John'll show you the line round (and round and round and round...) there).

I'm up for something assuming we can get the numbers together.

Given that there's no 'club' circuit at the others, I think this is marketing...
