I've got a 120bhp car on a 54 plate - full spec on the AAOC site - any good? Deal all dependent on the spec of girlfriend...

Spec as follows: She's a 1976 facelift model
3 owners (she says!)
I've serviced her every six months
Whines a bit at certain revs
Very pretty thing but the rear end is
now a little heavy and can cost you
money if you take her out and push
her to hard!

Atomize,
I have the same problem, in the next few days i'm going to do the same thing, insert a couple of mm of dense foam padding or rubber into the seats of the "hat". I'll let you know how i get on , please mail me if you can get rid of the noise.

How is the girlfriends rattles these days??? Exactly what are you inserting???
