I've been contacted by the organiser of Circuit Days. I don't actually know them and so any feedback would be appreciated. Their website is at http://www.circuit-days.co.uk/

They organise events at Cadwell and have the following dates available:

Fri 15 July (Evening Session)
Wed 3 August (Evening Session)
Thu 4 August (Evening Session)
Thu 22 Sept (Full of Half Day)
Sat 26 Nov (Full or Half Day)

All their events are run in open pit lane format, with limited numbers to avoid nasty queues. For Cadwell, they're offering AAOC members a 10% price discount, regardless of booking number. If over 15 places are booked, a 15% discount is valid. If 30 or more are booked, we can reduce the price by 20%. They don't charge for 2nd drivers or passengers, and a 20 minute tuition session is included in the price. Price details are on the website.

All AAOC attendees will recieve a welcoming pack, Track and Race Car magazine and subscription offer, sticker and Circuit Days Events calendar.

I think I'll be up for either of the evening slots on Wed 3rd or Thur 4th of August, £80 for an evening's blast around Cadwell sounds like fun.

No idea on the organiser though - never used'em. But I'm sure I will at some point as they seem to focus on the smaller northern tracks.

The afternoon session at Croft on the 6th Aug sounds quite good value as well.

I've booked up for the evening session on the 4th of August at Cadwell. Not been there before but sounds like it should be fun.

The staying the weekend in Skeggy with my mummy......

Anyone else fancy meeting up?

Once again Bruce has a done a grand job and a discount for AAOC members was given (you'll have to phone them as it doesn't automatically give discount on the web), £80 for 3 1/2 hours is pretty good!

Speak to you all soon,

It is possibly the best track in the coumtry and the evenings make a lot of sense especially if you have a long journey as you don't have to leave home at the crack of dawn. But you actually get two and a half hours on track from 1730 until 2000 and in my opinion it's only worth it if the session is under-subscribed. 26 cars are allowed on track so if less than that number attend you can run at will, more than that and you have to wait for someone to come in, with only 2.5 hours you don't want to be waiting around.

'Has anybody actually booked for the 22nd Sept?'

Yes, just booked. A bit far from the south but really looking forward to it.

Probably going to go for this one as well. Happy to join the convoy also (give me a chance to try out my new intercom and soon to arrive radios).

Same applies here ...if my car's arrived by then, I'll be there! If not, I'll see what other strange machinery I can come up with...

Bruce, Captain Convoy at your service, we'll meet on the A1m somewhere, let me get this weekend out the way and we'll book it. Sounds like there could be about 10 Atoms! Half day or full day, what's everyones preference?

I will do a full day and travel up on the 21st. I will stay at the same hotel as last time, which is 10 minutes from the circuit. It's called "Admiral Rodney Hotel" in Horncastle. 01507523131. Last time, in the evening, I drove into Skegness caused quite a stir. If there's more of us it will be great fun. (I've just booked my room!!!)
