Hi All,

Anyone going on track the weekend of 23rd/24th July, the Mrs is hosting a hen weekend at our house so I am being kicked out. Hence the track can be miles away since I have all weekend to spare.

Only one I can find is Bruntingthorpe on the Saturday, anyone fancy it ? Or open to other options. Failing the track I am also up for a general 'hoon' that weekend (or any other)

Ben,

Who is Bruntingthorpe with? Or if you want come and spend some time down on the south coast. I can do the Saturday, but my wife is working Sunday morning. If you don't get any better offers I will try to get rid of the kids for the Sunday morning and you could come down for the weekend and we could go out Saturday / Sunday.

John,

Bruntingthorpe is being organised by big thunder, so same as last time.

My plan B is actually to go and visit mother in West Sussex so it sounds like a good option to go out for a run.

Goodwood sounds good to me. Who is it with?

If you didn't know someone died at a trackday there the week after the Festival of Speed. Not sure of the reason. Instructor in the car at the time. He is a baddly hurt and in hospital at the moment.

Ben,

Your call do you want to do Goodwood? If it runs like the trackday they only allow 10 cars out on the track at any one time. You can spend quite alot of time in a queue waiting to get on, but it is a nice track.

Yeah Goodwood sounds good, although I am a bit daunted by some comments that it is not a good beginners circuit, so far I have stuck to tracks where you can't crash into anything.

Ben

p.s. I also had a look at Lydden which looks like a slightly bigger version of the Haynes track, but (oddly) is owned by McLaren.
