Is the Atom low enough to dodge radar?
I'm told by a policeman that cars like the Atom are are source of frustration to his traffic colleagues as they are two low and the number plate in too obscure a position, for them to be reliably picked up by speed radars. Does anyone have any personal evidence of this, or is it just wishful thinking?
How many Atoms are there on the roads? (I've never seen one except in a friend's drive and on a trailer). I don't think the police will worry if all the Atom owners get away, there are plenty of other targets.
mdrc - shhhh. Why call attention to it?
Simon, there should be at least 100 Atoms registered and on the road in the UK currently. The rest are all over the world. From what I hear, you're lucky to have seen two, though! Hen's teeth are a rarer sight.
Bruce, one was a trackday car on a trailer. The other was in Jez' drive.
I'm delighted you talked him into it, as I'll get to have a go.
Wasn't turquoise on the trailer, was it... or black... or orange...? If the first or last one, was definitely mine - otherwise, could be mine or one of a number... If being towed by a Volvo, was probably mine...
No, it was a race car, with wings, on a low loader type trailer. I think it may have been Tracksense.
