Guys

I'm sure you'll agree, we should all consider ourselves very lucky to have such diverse choice in the UK, and be thankfull that there are companies out there that will build cars such as the atom.

Personally, I think it's a bit too extreme and takes the 'not very practical' argument to another level. I have to say I see the 7 as a class-less car that all admire, have a faint suspicion you may look a bit of a tw*t driving an Ariel down the high street?

Just wondering how many of you Atom owners 'look a bit of a tw*t driving an Ariel down the high street' ?

Jc,

Did you find comments on Pistonhead forum or Caterhams site? Give us the link, I would like to see what comments develop.

The interesting thing about Caterham threads on Atoms is "they make it up as they go along". Most of the technical stuff they say is rubbish. Also if you search for Caterham on the Atom site we don't talk much about Caterhams or rubbish them (much!).

It seems to happen on all car forums, for instance at alt.autos.ferrari every so often some Corvette owners turn up stating they have better cars more bang per buck etc, they won't accept that a better car exists. Conversely the Ferrari owners could not give a c*ap about Corvettes as they 'know'

So it is with Atoms 'vs Caterhams, we don't feel the need to rubbish them because we know.

Ben

p.s. I should add that I quite like Caterhams and should I ever have the space would enjoy building one, would not fit in it when I finished but thats another problem.
