Hi All,

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Richard, live near Guildford in Surrey and I am taking delivery of my Atom later this month.

Spec as follows:

Atom 2, Black, 245 BHP ,LSD, Baffled Sump, Competition Rear Disc/Pads, Alcon Big Brake Kit, Adjustable bounce and rebound dampers, Comp Rod Ends, Stainless Silencer, 16'' Track Wheels powder coated black, Locking Fuel Cap, Seat Anti-Slip, Alu gear and handbrake

All fairly standard I am sure. Main reason for buying is to do track days. I have joined the AAOC, although I don't have any details through on that yet.

Here is the Q: I was wondering what the average amount for insurance people are paying is?

I look forward to meeting some of you at a track some time soon.

Hi Richard,

Congrats on your purchase.

I pay about £400 with Adrian Flux to insure my Mk1 Atom the policy is limited to 5k miles per year but includes unlimited track cover for an extra £50 (included in £400 total). This price also includes an owners club discount.

Hi, Richard

I live in Haslemere and have had my Atom since January. I've done about 4,000 miles and 3 track days including Spa.

I am with Footman James 0845 330 1662. I am mid 40's, years of no claims, limited mileage (which I am going to blow this year 4,500 miles) for £350.00.

Yes, sorry about that Richard. Your AAOC details will be in the mail shortly. With your membership number, you'll be able to take advantage of the AF club deal mentioned above. If you search for "insurance" on this forum you'll find lots of info. My AF policy costs around £450 inc. trackdays, but everyone will be different. The average seems to be between £350 and £500.
