Attended last Friday's RMA Nurburgring Trackday (which was superb ! ) and had the good fortune to be introduced to young Andy and his 120 bhp Atom by Atom guru MC. I'm a dedicated Porsche driver and have been driving at the 'Ring for ten years plus, have to say that my ride in the Atom was outstanding, couldn't believe how those transverse high mounted mid engined snap oversteer nasties have been eradicated. Young Andy on his first trip to the 'Ring was comfortable and confident to hold the car in loverly controlled power oversteer slides in places where I'm driving my 911RS as if its on rails for fear of an inevitable oversteer moment and a trip to the barriers.

Andy kindly took one of my Caterham owning friends out for a couple of laps, and he, as the fastest of my Caterham Trackday friends was astounded, before his laps he had completely dismissed the Atom as a silly sytling whim !

Andy's tales of the excellent service and enthusiasm of the Ariel Company, are completely at odds with the general feeling of just about every Caterham customer that I know. So as an elderly Porsche driver can just say how nice it is to see the Ariel commimg to form, really well done.

Regards and thanks,

Tim.

PS. Wild horses wouldn't get me sat into MC's forthcomming supercharged Honda Atom, but I'll enjoy seeing him blast past me every few laps !
