Here's a bit more info from Motorsports Events

Hi John,

At Llandow on 11th June we are running an open pit lane day allowing a huge amount of track time for all our guests. As usual our team of instructors are on hand but with this event the fee includes a free lesson. The cost for the day is £119 per car and main driver with additional drivers and passengers charged at £10 each.

Had a fantastic day at the Llandow Track Day yesterday (11th) courtesy of John Lloyd.

This was my first track day so all very interesting. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism in organising the event.

The circuit at Llandow is relatively small at just under 1 mile. John managed to clock up about 80 odd miles of circuits. Whilst I can say I've travelled at similar speeds before I have never experienced the speed approaching and negotiating corners in my life!

I woke this morning and my calf muscles were aching like mad! I couldn't immediately understand why but then remembered, it was all the braking I did - and I was just a passenger!!!

Anyway, we have stacks of photos & plenty of video to wade through, will post some to the gallery when I know how.

Meanwhile, here's a sample of the forthcoming ‘competition’ when I get mine in September!
