Any ideas, for road and track, to stop the rear end sliding out so much(even though it's fun)And to give me better pull a way speed?

Dunlop DO1j's or Formula R's as they are now called.

the closest thing to a slick you can legally use on the road.

Dunlop R extra sticky. Available from Dunlop Motorsports division c. £130 a pop

...open an account - if you like sliding, you'll get through them quite quickly! (Slightly less sticky ones last longer)

Other very sticky semi-slick tyres are available, such as the Bridgestone Potenza RE050, Kumho V70A, Yokahama AO38R, Avon ACB10's etc. However, I'm not sure which actually fit on your 17" rims...

Or get some slicks and a stanley knife - after a few goes, you should get quite good at cutting grooves

I'll have to check tonight what mine came with as I spec'd the track tyre package expecting the Dunlop Formula R's but got some Avon tyres.

Definitely better than the ones that my Mark 1 Atom came with though!
