Firstly i'd like to apologise if i sound power hungry, but i've just come back from Santa pod after drag stripping my Atom down their track!Great day!! Anyway, what are peoples thoughts on Nos, to give me more power on motorways, dual carriage ways, the ring, santa pod etc. Just thinking of a small boost i.e 50 brake more. Sounds pretty cheap for that much extra power, about £1500 for a nice set up. I would obviously not be using it on every trip to Sainsbury's but only on special occasions i.e Queens birthday!!
Thanks Andy, my next job is to get a second set of wheels and tyres as 99 per cent of the time im on the road but do need something stickier.
Bruce: 1/4 mile= 11.982. Top speed= 114.53. Dropping the rear tyres down to 12. People were amazed and said with rear slicks and without that double cheese burger i had, it would have been a ten second car! I didn't see any road legal cars do under 12.

Bruce; on the re selling issue are your concerns with nos or santa pod? I would have thought that a few runs up santa pod is easier on the car than any track day? And NO2 giving a 50 brake increase through the supercharger would be fine, if used sensibly. But what do i know, i haven't even done a track day yet, maybe i'm getting ahead of myself!
Fast buck - My 2 pence:-
If you want more power go for a remap and up the pressure from the charger, Jackson Racing have the same setup running around 350brake on std internals, and it is meant to be reliable, but as they say you pays your money and take your choice.
As for NOS,
Change the rear tyres for smoething much stickier, or as suggested get rid of those nasty rims and put on Mags, reducung the unsprung weight at the same time.
How is the suspension set up?
As for dragging being easier on a car than a track day, definatly not......., Dumping the clutch at 8000rpm is not condusive to long mechanical life.

Thanks guys, One thing i must add is that there was NO dumping the clutch at 8000rpm, there would be no traction at all with 300bhp. 3-4000rpm and slowly feather the clutch in, nice and peaceful.I'm now going to make inquiries about re-mapping my ecu to give more power to the supercharger, thanks .

Don't forget the events page on the atomclub website- it seems a couple of drivers will be at Cadwell on June 10 There'll be one at Goodwood on June 20. And I'll be at Brands GP on Friday 1st July.

Fastbuck,
Speak to Jackson Racing in the states or Abbey motorsport in the UK, Im pretty sure they are the UK distributors for Jackson and Hondata.
Abbey are a top outfit, have been very happy with work they did to a skyline - highly recommended.
Ps, 600bhp/tonne is rather a lot you know!
