Wanted - Mark 1 Atom

. Caterham is up for sale, looking for an Atom to replace it. Probably a 140/160 K-series Mark 1 for the money I have (£15k). Something of a shortage of cheap Atoms at the moment unfortunately - my 120'll be up for that sort of money in a couple of months, but at the minute, I think Lloyd's car is the only Mk1 around.
Not sure how much of an advantage the extra 20 or 40bhp is with the Mk1 - my 120 kept up with the 220s at Bruntingthorpe last weekend (including overtaking Bruce - did I mention that Bruce? Did I? Did I?). The Mk1 cars are just quite simply LOADS of fun!

Yeah, I phoned up about that. It's a left-hooker for a start. I phoned Simon at Ariel and he said some bloke bought it in a auction and spent a fair bit on it already.
He reckoned it needed a few quid spending on it to get it fully sorted (£1500 to convert to RHD if you want). Not too bothered about LHD, but just didn't have a good feeling about it. Simon said if I could get it for £10k, it'd be worth it.
Mind you, it's only done about 700 miles according to Caterham!
May get some more details & check back with Simon.
