NOMAD / ATOM LIGHTS
Discussion
Im at the factory Monday so I will check as best I can in day light hours, but has anyone taken delivery recently or well, within 6 months, and got any comments on the lights?
I have seen various comments complaining about them, but they are hellas and the nomad has the option of the 4 spots above and apart from the windscreen glare which should be easy to fix with a lip under the lights or a strip inside the windscreen, I would just be surprised the lights are bad. So, are they that bad for night driving?
If so, what solutions have people sought?

Hi GTM,
I bought a (used) Nomad last summer from the factory. Not much use the last couple of months, but treated myself to commuting in the Nomad yesterday. I have the four roof-mounted spots wired in to main beam. All I can say is that dip beam seems perfect to me. It has a very sharp l/h cut off which might be a problem driving on the mainland, but is as good as any car I've owned.
Main beam is simply hilarious. Given the way you dip (reach over to the dash and twist the light knob - don't twist too far - as I have done, as you will turn the lights right off. . .) I am careful to only use dip when I think I'll be sticking with it or driving off road (that's every time I leave my house - at least for half a mile). I already fitted a simple sun-strip to deal with the lack of sun visors - and as nice side-effect it stops a lot of the glare you will otherwise get in the cab from the spotlights.
Main beam will give you all the light you need I promise - every time I turn them on I end up thinking what an awesome tool the Nomad would be for a bit of 'lamping' for rabbits.

Thanks for that. Yes I can imagine the main beam 4 spots which I have also are going to be good, although for the money Id prefer LEDs, but never mind, bit by bit.
I will at some point set myself the goal of doing something at the back to improve the rear lights / indicators, but just want to get the car and enjoy it first before tinkering too much, however, water seepage is something I will turn my hand to as is the sun>
Yes sun strip is on my list to put in, a must with such a large screen Id say.
thanks..!
