A great day. Sun, rain hailstones and wind. Fantastic. Spun more times than my clothes in a washing machine!

It was also nice to know that I could help the local farmer harvest his Rape Seed. See photos on Club site. Great to meet eveyone again.

Pulled over, but not stop by the on the M1 going home only doing 95ish.

Angie would have loved to have been there.

Nearly as many times as I did! Though I did manage to overtake the President, so I'm happy (no Bruce, the fact you moved over because it was your first ever lap round the circuit isn't a valid excuse...)!

I think everyone had a great day ...and it was good to see how much faster the Atoms were than the Crates ...even the 120s made them look slow!

There are now a few static pics up on the gallery at atomclub.com as well as a small molecule of Atom owners, Hopefully, we'll try and get Ben's video of a lap in his mean green Atom up on the site shortly!

More shots to come from John later...

Oh, and I span mine, too. Just the once, a nice, controlled 360... lots of very fast sideways stuff, though. I blame the wet track... and so does Andy!

It was really great to see lots of Atoms in one place - as a bunch we were waaay too cool for school. Let's see even more next time...

Seconded (or thirded) an excellent day plus it was really good to meet everyone and see so many atoms. It was also a good introduction to circuit driving.

Photos to follow and maybe some video although I have to confess the incar footage was only partially succesful, good coverage of Alistair and I putting helmets on and strapping in then not much else, oh well next time.

Cheers

I did not know you could get so many types of weather in so short a time !

Nice to meet some other owners and talk atoms for the day without the 'whats the top speed' type questions that you normally get.

Yes - Heaven knows what was happening - I kept trying to post and saw nothing happening! All tidy now, though...

Yup! Once it dried, I kept it pointing in the right direction for the rest of the day ...unlike Lewis when he borrwed it!

Couldn't get on the forum at all yesterday - have no idea what was going on.

I've put a couple of my photos on the Atomclub site, and I've just got the CD from Reilly Studios with a load more on, so I'll upload those too when I get time!

I'd like to say thanks to all the atom guys that I met up there on Saturday. Had a great time playing in the big thunder atom and now very tempted to get my hands on one...

Special thanks to Bruce for taking my girlfriend for a 'spin' - chances are a lot higher that I'll be allowed to buy one now!!
