Sunglasses look cool, but stuff gets under them and in your eyes. Goggles work but look like a WW1 fighter ace.

So how about a hybrid - shoggles?

See the merchandise section of the website for details of a great find for AAOC members...

I have some of these, and they are ace. No fogging, no streaming eyes and no grit (excellent for contact lense wearers).

Mine have auto-dimming lenses which go from clear to dark in about 30s, but you can get loads of other colours (or should I say colors!) and the lenses are interchangeable.

You know you want some ...

I think you think they're Wileys - they're not, but they're close - about a quarter of the price, though!

There is no need to wear goggles! The WileyX XL1 glasses - www.wileyx.com/xl1.php - are all you need for eye protection. They look like sunglasses, look good on almost everyone and all but seal around your eyes. I'd recommend them to anyone. Apparently the new light adjusting lenses go completely clear for night use. This would have been handy for me once - swapping lenses over in the passenger seat on the motorway at 100 km/h one evening, I fumbled my clear set of lenses and never saw them again ...

...and the ones on Atomclub aren't Wileys, they're not light-adjusting either, but they do seal around the eyes (I wore mine on a damned good thrash yesterday to great effect! My passenger wore the Wileys) and they're not over a hundred dollars a pop!

Incidentally, the AAOC shoggles order goes in this week. Any more for any more? email me through atomclub to order... I'll email everyone individually with confirmation and final cost inc. p&P. You should have them end of this week, beginning of next.

There’s some bad news, and there’s some good news….

The bad news is that I was taken on a surprise holiday last week and didn’t get the order in. The other bad news is that I got back to find that my computer had crashed and have spent the last three days retrieving data from a corrupt hard drive (fingers crossed it’s worked!). However, more bad news, I have lost some emails and so I haven’t got all the orders

The good news is that I’m back at my desk now with a working computer and will be putting the order in today. The other good news is that I’ve negotiated FREE P&P, so the price of just £14 a pair now includes that!

Here’s the list I had when my PC died…

richard muller 2 red
john cooper 1 red 1 blue
james buckley 1 red 1 blue
gary forrest 1 red 1 blue
peter ferriby 1 red 1 blue
alastair badman 1 red 1 blue
nick wright 2 blue
ian bessant 1 red 2 blue
bruce fielding 1 blue

If you wanted some and you’re not on this list, please let me know today so that the others won’t be held up any longer…

I’ll pay for the order from club funds, so quick as you can, cheques, please, to AAOC Ltd. to the usual address, or PayPal (with a bit extra to cover charges

Ah hah! That would explain why I don't have your address for the shoggles! You haven't joined the AAOC yet... Shall I send them to Summerhouse?

edited to say that the address isn't on the website - mail me with details, please?

Just squeezed under the wire... That's it for now, folks. If there's more demand, I'll pop another order in in a week or two.
