I've just started calling round to get quotes for the insurance on my 160.

Adrian Flux came in pretty competitive but I was just wondering if there was anyone else I should call? I want to try and get Track Day cover included.

Thanks.

I recently tried Footman James and recieved an amazing quote for my age on a 120. Not sure about thier trackday policy, although I'm sure someone else can fill you in.

Adrian Flux do do trackday cover for £50-odd quid extra plus £2k excess - or at least they've done it for those of us who are with them

As Bruce is away being "Meyrick'd" at the 'ring ...I'll fill in for him!

With Adrian Flux, you get an AAOC discount ...but only if you're a member! www.atomclub.com

That said, I'm with Footman James ...and the increase in premium from moving up from a 120 to a 220 was precisely ...£0!! Anything up to a 2-litre appears to ce classed as the same level of risk ...and who are we to tell them otherwise!

I'm with Esteem, which is a part of AON. I find them very competitive and trackday cover is £25 a go.

I did the AON thing for the last four years. They're a very good company, but the reason I changed was twofold. A)they were more expensive for me at base level, and B) each trackday has to be cleared with their underwriters, which can take a day or so. Plus even if you do just three trackdays a year, and get a £50 cheaper premium, you're actually paying more...
