How cool is this?

The first Atom with a black frame makes this the meanest looking Atom ever:

More pics in the atomclub gallery...

It is lovely but on balance I think I prefer the normal 'scaffolding' chic!

Noooooooooooo!

As Billy Connolly was once told by the artist as he left the tattoo parlour having availed himself of the services therein, "One more of us. One less of them".

It doesnt involve scaffolding or anything extreme, just a bit of a change

That's really nice - although a blob to keep clean I bet.

Still who cares...it looks mint.

Kind of wish I'd gone for that look now on mine....

Really Ross? - Kind of makes it look a little more 'ordinary' (if that's possible) to my eyes...no offence Coot. Still, if we all liked the same things the world would be a boring place!

So that's two black chassis, one yellow one, and apparently there's a red one out there somewhere...

I think that the black chassis looks good with the black panels, but that it would look wrong with coloured panels, where the silver would be better. And you know how I feel about the Atom being in a bright colour - it's the best way to make sure those Porsches see you coming up fast behind them! My currently black one is up for a respray in a couple of weeks...

Bearing in mind your previous colour, Bruce, I'm waiting to see what this will be!

You didnt get a job lot of yellow paint from Trotters Independant Trading, did you? Looks good at night, apparently

Cheers,

Peter.

It's called Daffodil Sunshine apparently... absolute steal at a quid a litre. Apparently it was surplus from the revamp of the Day Room at the Camden Rest Home for Disturbed Gentlefolk.

Monza

The wheels of your Atom Noire apparently are from Dynamag.
I saw them elsewhere before but I can’t find neither the seller nor details / specification. IIRC they are forged aluminium or cast magnesium and are rather expensive. Here front and rear have same dimensions ?

BTW: That Atom also has transparent polycarbonate or acrylic glass side panels which should be standard in UK But how are they fixed to chassis frame ? “Special brackets “ (IIRC in French = colliers) required? (because these are bronze welded ERW / CDS steel tubes with a the powder coated finish ?? )

Should be standard? They should be banned!

I believe they're attached by lugs on the chassis which can be specified at build ...though retro fitting some clamp-on clips wouldn't be too tricky.
