See this month's Top Gear magazine for an eight page spread on an Atom in the Arctic at -55c... plus a four page pullout poster behind the front cover

Pete/Meyrick - you are wimps by comparison!

When I spoke to Tom at the factory recently he told me about this ridiculous Arctic jaunt by Top Gear - and that to expect some intersting/amusing results!

The best result is that the car didn't miss a beat! Try THAT in any other trackday car!

I've been waiting for this article to appear as I drove this 160 demo the day after it came back. Apparently it did 3000 miles without missing a beat and all they had done to it was to wash it before I arrived. It was even still on the snow tyres which made the drive interesting but fun with low grip ! No major mods apart from side panels, extra xenon lights and socket for heated clothing.

After my test drive, Simon took the girlfriend out for a spin and she loved it. We ended up discussing usage, spec and budget with Simon for over 2 hours....2 days later we placed an order.

didn't CAR take one skiing a couple of years ago, with a factory support vehicle which wasn't needed?
