Gravel "track days" for Nomads
Discussion
I'm collecting my Nomad on Fri and of course I've been looking for places where I could have fun with it.
I've found http://sweetlamb.co.uk/ in Wales, you can see it more in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPlwfED4tdo&t=...
I spoke to the guy in charge and although the weekends are busy he has some availability on weekdays.
One being this coming Wed, anyone up for joining me then or on different dates? I know a good car photographer in the area that would be happy to take some good photos.
I'll be also going to the Highlands mid May if anyone wants to join in the misery of driving there from London

I just found your youtube videos yesterday - looking forward to watching. Salisbury quite a trek for me, how fast can you drive once there? Clearly don't need to go mad but it would be nice to do more than 10mph!
Viewranger seems a good app for green lane suggestions.

I've had my nomad up to 90mph on salisbury plain at which point it all got rather vague. Off roading is mostly illegal in snowdonia from my understanding.Viewranger seems a good app for green lane suggestions.

I'm based in east anglia and the green laning here is pretty decent with lots of quick bits. If anyone with nomad wants to meet up for a blast it'd be great!
i dont own a nomad (do have an atom though) - when it came out i thought it would make an awesome autosolo and grass based autotest tool something you can sign up for with a non competitive nat b license and have a bit of fun in relative safety, i have done a few in a subaru and oddly a simca... great laugh over sometimes very rough grass/mud
Also I dont know how it works but do they ever have track days for autocross events, looking at lydden hill and brandshatch both have alternative circuits that would be awesome in the nomad... silverstone have a small rally track for learners but im unsure if they let you take your own vehicle on...

Try a rally school, like Phil Price?
This Chris Harris video shows him testing there for a flavour of the stages.
