Mid life Crisis

Well gone and done it and bought myself a 2012 Atom 3 300 bhp with only 3280 miles not a stone chip in sight and having had the covers off, engine, 1 piece seat, front and inspected everything, what a wonderful piece of engineering, didn't even have to clean her, same as brand new just out of the box, obviously had to have a short run and managed to scare myself to death, awesome.
question though, I have the ambidextrous chassis and was just wondering if anybody had made a cover to put over the steering support it looks a bit ugly or somebody has possibly swapped their old binnacle for a carbon and had the old one knocking about ?

Far more chance of success asking on the Atom forum

Having seen a few with the ambi chassis I would look to have a carbon cover made for it rather than fit a larger dash - the double dash look isn't a lot better than the exposed metalwork - lots of folk will be able to make you something cost effectively

Hi there highflier glad you got sorted with a car. Didn't we meet a few years ago at a pub meer on the wirrel and then again at oulton park when and you had an ultima and i had a 2/160 in green at the time. I repainted my car in gulf colours then sold it for a boxster spyder. Got to have another atom when I have sold th Spyder

yes, that is the one i had. i am also on the atom forum "Rocket Man". cant wait to get another Atom. the Spyder is a crakin car but just miss the drama of the Atom. hope we can catch up at one of the shows tis year, always go to tatton park amongst others.
