Didnt get to do a track day on Saturday so had a cross country blast with the Lotus club on Sunday.
Did the North Yorks moors across to Whitby for fish and chips.

The car floats quite well over water....

Very!

Doesnt look that deep but it was about 1ft at the end, water was thrown up through the side, right leg was soaked through. ( first time I've used the drainage holes! )

Judging by the size of some of the pot holes, should have had one of these

Some good driving to be had though, and no tourist traffic yet so main roads still empty.

Back to Elvington and the 19th, loving it.

Pete,

Do you have any more footage that you'd be happy to see put on our our www.openwheelers.co.nz website? The quality of your video is fabulous.

Cheers,
Andrew

owi,

I've got an hours worth from that day but its not too interesting - I'll snip out a few bits and see what the size comes to as its about a gig for the hour.

I'm at another track day this Saturday so should have some better footage then, now that the camera is working correctly.

There still might be a chance of snow

Thanks,

Peter.

Thanks Peter - would love to see what you have. Email me at andrew at openwheelers.co.nz and I'll send you some FTP details.

If you drive the car in the snow, Simon and I would love some photos! Rob in the US took his Atom to a snowy event in Seattle but a) froze his fingers with dodgy gloves and b) didn't take a photo of his car in the snow which we would have loved to see.

Cheers,
Andrew
