Has anyone installed heated seats of any kind? Or perhaps some other form of heater?

Not required, you can either put all the biker gear on as most of us do or spec plugs for heated clothing, I've got them but not the clothes to go with - BMW gear I think?

I think if I wanted to be a biker I'd probably buy a bike. My car will have a windscreen and other hints at civilisation!

My previous buggy had heated leather seats from an Audi and they worked very well. Sounds as though a trip to the scrapyard may be on the cards so long as seat-back thickness doesn't become an issue.

You can buy heated clothing, then you don't need a heated seat.

I've found that with the right clothing, the only thing you might still need are heated gloves. Anyone able to recommend a product ... finger tips nearly fell off yesterday!!

Try one of these £6.49 heated seat cover. I used one the weekend. Really good!

Yo Ozzie I think you are looking at the wrong car if you want civilisation, ie windscreen, heated seats etc

Yes Keith I do have a windscreen and would like to convert it back but it will cost £400 + vat + p+p and as I'm selling don't think it's worth spending the money because I would keep the screen as an option for the new owner.
I certainly wouldn't consider heated anything though lol

the windscreens are frowned upon but something i intend to fit to my car when funds allow. its nice to have both but not a practical thing to keep swaping as you feel fit, perhaps once to try buy not a regular thing to do
