Just to let you all know that Tom's seditious comments have taken root and Max and I have decided to go for a new one and sell the old one.

Spec pretty much the same as the old one, but with the charger, but we are going to try and fit four pot Alcons / slotted disk / Pagid blues on both the front and rear axles, which is a bit of an experiment and may not work. We will be sacrificing the handbrake, but that's no big deal. We are having the magnesium wheels, plus the usual:
- LSD
- Baffled sump
- Competition rod ends
- Adjustable dampers, race springs
- Full harnesses
and so on. Plus my usual power socket and the Xenons.

Build slot May / June time, so we will play with the 220 until then and sell it in May. We think its a better solution than upgrading the existing one, since we get all the little upgrades on the way, plus can have the rollcage mounts, side screen tabs, fire extinguisher mounts and so on put on the chassis ab initio.

Quite excited! It will be sad to see the 220 go, given all the fun we have had in it, but needs must and we hope its the right decision. If anyone is interested, full spec is on the Company website, under sold, ref MH. Won't be available until May, though.

I'm still sure that it's possible with no major difficulty to have and handbrake even with Alcon calipers on the rear wheels, it's only to find a simple pot caliper that is "add" to the other at a different place on the disk like it's made on Ultima for example (look to their website to see pics).

Are you sure that a new car with NO handbrake can pass the SVA ? i think not .... or you'll have to upgrade after the SVA control.

We have talked about a variety of handbrakes solutions, but it all involves cost for something we don't care about, so current plan is to SVA with standard rears and then upgrade. Come MoT time, it will need to be refitted. Still flexible about it.

Haven't seen the Ultima solution. We'll have a look at that with Tom, so thanks. Are you planning on any Spa days this year, JP?

Brakes, i think i have some pics of the Ultima system if i find some i send it to you and Tom.
SPA : nothing plan yet because situation is "difficult" for me : i have ordered a new Atom 245 which will arrive in March and after that i 'll have to fight to homologate it in France (much more difficult for the second one than for the first). If i succeed, this car will be immediatly sold (i have a buyer waiting for it) and if homologation problems are solved, i'll order a full spec Atom 300, like yours in fact, for my personnal use. So this can take some times before i'll have a new one only for me !
