It looks so cool. It's like the ultimate SUV, imagine picking your kid up from school in that.
And then driving over their football pitches.

Had my test drive last year, the Orange Nomad was being used by Autocar for the drivers car of the year feature, so I drove the gold and yellow(sometimes green) demo car.
This is the more off-road version, with chunkier tyres etc.
The trip to Ariel made me realise I need to spend more cash, such as stainless fixings, underbody protection etc.
Have decided to get the supercharged version, which entails a £1200 heavy duty clutch as well as the extra for the charger.
The Nomad drives much as expected, it's fast, very comfy over bumps, very cold .
Really looking forward to getting a build date now.

Nearly got to signing but just a little shocked at the options list.
One thing I did not realize is that you need to spend £3k just to get it on the road - lights, indicators, IVA - all that stuff I assumed would be standard.....
Suddenly being able to just about afford it as £34k becomes really straining at £40k.
Still, there's one up here for sale - fairly standard spec and they're asking over £50k - making £10k profit seems a bit hopeful!!!
Please get in touch if you've made the leap - be keen to chat.
