After a few years of Aston ownership, and then flitting between various different things, I've bought an Ariel Atom 3 300.....in Orange smile

Just need some good weather now. Had a few good runs out but desperate for more sun!

I know the rules so here's the pic smile Will grab some more when the sun comes out.

Welcome to the club. I bought a 3-300 in July. Its been the best car I have ever owned or driven. Sooo much fun. And it also brings a smile to everyone who sees it.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've been driving it in the cold and it's fine when I'm wrapped up. Just dry days needed really.

I'd be up for a group run if there are any other owners around? Maybe even a group breakfast one morning regardless?

Chris.

beautiful car - would love to own one but funds dictate otherwise.

Just couldn't afford that much for a 'second' car frown

hmm, something along the lines of...

hey hunny if i got rid of the RS4 i use for the daily commute and get a pug 308 diesel that would save £450 a month but i would still need my 'hit' of adrenaline so why don't i get a second car for the weekends and use some of the money we are saving to finance that?

Nope, I'm a single man. Just had to clear out all the crap from the garage. More of a task than I'd anticipated it seemed...

Steve is one of the long standing owners and I know he is selling to make space for his new 3.5 300 - but I saw from the Atom forum he still has it so plainly you did not buy his car - enjoy the car

Hi I am considering a Atom and I have very basic question that hopefully you can help me with:

I am 6ft 4 will I fit in it?

Thank you in advance

Yep, you should have no problems at all but would recommend trying one out first.

Lots of tall and indeed "wide" owners - it's a differentiator from a Caterfield - most sizes fit

I am 6'4" and about 15 stone and fit no problem at all. I reckon up to about 6'8" would fit.

Just buy one....you will love it.
