Has anyone else had any fuelling problems with a 220? On the way back from Spa, mine wouldn't pull properly, ultimately only able to cruise on full throttle at 85ish, although it worked OK on part throttle. Ran a bit rough.

Tom said that he thought it was a fuel filter issue, so I need to drop it back to the factory. Anyone else had similar issues - and particularly solved them?

Not had that problem myself, but it does sound like a fuel filter problem - probably worth swapping it yourself to see if that helps before taking it back to the factory.

Cheers, Ross.

Hi all,

We have had a misfire problem with ours twice, both having the same type of issues.

If you try and drive along in traffic at a steady speed the car starts to choke up and splutter, if you floor it, it clears for a bit and then starts doing it again.

On full pelt it's a little down on power.

Again this seem to be down to a filter problem and some shit getting into the injectors.

We've just had the same problem - crud in the injectors. Ariel now fit in-line fuel injectors to new cars as a precaution so it's worth installing one.
