Has anybody upgraded the lights on their Atom? I have a 220 (the red factory demonstrator which was in all the brochures) which I was driving back from the Nurburgring last night and it was all a bit gloomy, even on full beam, not to mention the quivering beam.

Also, anyone found any better mirrors than standard? The view is great when stationary, but they deflect downwards at standard Euro cruising speed so that no matter where you start them, you have a fine view of the engine deck in the nearside one. Less of an issue with the offside one, but its tedious adjusting it all the time.

Great to hear there's another owner in our midst!

Meryck, I've emailed you about adding you to our 'club' mailing list - let me know.

I found the original mirrors on the Atom 1 (the taller, round ones) to give a much better rear view than the newer rectangular ones on the Atom 2 and I never had problems with them deflecting in the wind.

When I get round to ordering my Atom 2, I'll definitely be looking for some better mirrors - I really don't like not having a reasonably clear rear view.

Not sure lights wise - Jon's fitted some monster gas discharge lamps to his 'buggy' which is perhaps a bit excessive - maybe you should invest in some night vision goggles - far more in keeping with the car I reckon

Cheers, Ross.

Can't help on the headlights, but Mk1 round mirrors are definitely the way to go - convex and round. I would imagine that most motorbike mirrors would work fine, too...
