Any Atoms racing
Discussion
It would be great to have a car like yours in our series.
There's a class A for up to 3.5 litres with a few Rover V8's such as Dax and Razor but I don't think they're as powerful as yours plus they weigh well over 700kg.
I race in class B for standard zetecs and most have around 150bhp and 525Kg.
We have near identical times to the class A so it makes for really exciting and fast racing but the Atom strikes me as being potentially bloody competitive.
If you fancy a look then they are racing at Cadwell Park this weekend and the last race is at Snetterton on the 10th Oct.
Or drop me a line for more info.

Damn, just looked at the regs for Class A and multivalve engines only allowed up to 1600cc, twin valves up to 1700cc and no fuel injection only carbs so this probably rules the honda engine out, plus only a max of 5 forward gears so the lovely 6 speed box goes too.
Shame that, still, must be somewhere it could race - more research required.
However if you do go on the 10th I'll have a wander over and say hello, you shouldn't be too difficult to spot.

You might also want to look at the news section of www.arielmotor.co.uk to see what Ariel are doing - they are running two 220 BHP racecars at the moment.

Having been on track in one, I can safely say they are awesome!
And the best bit is that the knowledge that Ariel are gathering on the track is ending up in the cars at a rapid rate - the new roll bar, suspension settings etc. are all down to the racing versions
There are rumours of a one make series in 2006 - fingers crossed...
