Seemingly, it is not the owner but a garage employee(s) that are involved eek

Very sad consequence's from an honest mistake by the driver.
I was on the scene before police and other services, horrible accident, car is an absolute right off.
Very very sad thoughts with the family.

some damp? some camber? some "watch this." Sad that one has lost their life and another is badly injured, but very easy to get it wrong if you're not used to driving a quick car.

On the Atom Club forum the story is that the driver - who survived - was the garage owner who decided to take out the car, which had been brought in for a service by its owner, and show his nephew - who died - what it could do. What's his honest mistake?

It took me 3 months to build up what I felt was enough experience and confidence to fully floor my Atom in a strait line.

It's not the undertaking of a test drive I'm afraid, as the Atom really is unlike nearly any other road car.

The road out of kemsing goes right then a long opening left, however there are a few hidden bumps. There was very few marks on the floor looked like he over stepped mark and it snap back across the road burying itself in a tree from the only tyre mark. Very very sad.

Regarding the mistake comment, he was simply give the guy a little fun trip to enjoy, and well over stepped the mark and is going to have to live with that error.

Such a shame.
