Here are the choices (narrowed down by Mark) so far...

September
Rockingham Sunday 25th Bookatrack £195 (open pitlane)
Brands Hatch GP Wednesday 29th Easytrack (sessions)

October
Mallory Park Tuesday 5th BHP £180 (sessions)
Snetterton Wednesday 20th RMA £125/175 (open pitlane)

I have a slight problem with Sept 25 in that I will have driven home to London from Inverness the day before... but the allure of Atoms is strong!

And I know there's always August 27th, but I'm not going to that one...

Plus there may be other days that come up in the near future... Or does anyone have any other suggestions - maybe a drive out one weekend to see Simon mob handed... that should be interesting!

I booked with easytrack for Mallory on the 7th November.Yea, I know its a long way off, but I like to plan things out, plus mallory is a great track , falling apart around the seams but still really enjoyable. Bloody cheap ,£125 ,only thing its on a Sunday.

I like the sound of the 26th at Rockingham, could be a go'er.........

Bruce, just stay down the night in Corby area, I'm sure the wife's forgotten who you are anyway!

On the otherhand, I don't know anywhere in Corby that I'd leave an Atom and you'd have to drive it to Scotland and back. Scrub that idea!!!!

I'd be up for coming along as a grateful passenger if you guys are okay with that.

In return, I'll be happy to get some video of the day - the last lot Mark and I did came out really nicely and Rockingham's just too good to miss.

Cheers, Ross.

Rockingham it is, then (we'll come home from Hols a day early - my wife will still love me!

Alert the media (well, the factory, anyway...)

Ross - send that group email! You never know - we might get the racer along and even (gasp) Simon! And of course you can passenger, Ross (or even drive), all you like.

Shall we try and get a club discount? I'll ask anyway. How many would we be?

We should definitely try for a group discount - I think Mark's been chatting up Laura (?) who handles bookings there so I'm sure he can do some geeza dealing....

I should probably give my Honda some laps really....

Cheers, Ross.

Ah just realised it's with Bookatrack, not direct

Hi again

Sorry for delay in replying to your posts but the dreaded rose joint went on the AA2 - even this car does not handle well on three wheels....however Simon is really good and has sorted before 18th.

Chris and I are definitely up for rockingham on the 25th

Hi Tim,

What happened?

Was it anything similar to what happened to mine?

If so, that's not good at all.

Cheers, Ross.

I know Johnny from Bookatrack - I'll see what he'll do... Still need to guess numbers, though

Well with Tim & Ian, there'll be 5 Atoms plus me - if we could convince Simon to bring one along that's a reasonable number.

Jon (Atom290)? Will your creation be ready by then?

Cheers, Ross.

I hope so!

The list of finishing items is endless!

I do fancy Rockingham and I will have just finished a week at the Ring, so the car will be pretty sorted.

almost everything is back on the car now!!!

I have the ardjuous task of building a new dash-board this weekend, but once that is finished and wired in, there are only a few things left to do

Engine will be fired up this week, so all set to get the car ready for the ring now on Aug 13

Still no word from Jonny... I'll keep nagging away, I'm sure we can get a small discount

If you want to go, please at least provisionally book your place now and I can use this as a bargaining tool
I see that Mark is confirmed and I'm down as provisional - anyone else? (JP - you have at least two offers of UK accomodation if you are able to come!)

Hi Ross/All

Chris and I will be there on the 25th.

Ross, I had the same experience with rose joint on the suspension arm. Luckily I was only doing 40 and came to a gentle halt, however it was just after I had passed two HGVs ... It was traced to a possible manufacturing fault since the rose joint snapped in the middle. Simon fixed it immediately and the other rose joints in the batch. Funnily enough, I now check them and some of the other 3000 odd bits flying in formation before the onset of any journey...

Cheers

Tim
