Suspension Settings

You never know when this may come in handy. I just got these details from Simon:

Ariel Atom Suspension Geometry:

Standard:

Front
Camber -30’
Toe 1mm toe OUT each side

Rear
Camber -45’
Toe 1.5mm toe IN each side


Intermediate/Racer

Front
Camber -1º

Rear
Camber -1.25º


Ride Heights

Front (measured from the ground to the base of the triangular bracket where the suspesnion meets the car) 120mm

Rear (measured from the ground to the base of the crossbar) 114mm

I hear that the racer goes for even more camber - as much as 3º but at that it becomes almost undriveable on the road!

I got the boys at the factory to put those intermediate race setting on my car, very quick and responsive now.

Hi,
Simon had given me same informations and i have made a complete document with the set up for roads and for track. I would like to email it to everyone but i have lost the common adress that was created to send mail to every atom owner.
The set-up of my car was not good when i took the car at the factory end of february and i have modified it last week with these informations, much much better now on bad roads and i will test it july 14th on Le Mans race track (not the big one, the permanet one "Bugatti").
Just put 4 Yoko A038R LTS (the tyres of the Lotus 340R) on the Atom (instead of Bridg S03) for this track day, now it will begin to be serious !
