Hi!

I hope I find you all in fine fettle.

My friend and I have just got hold of our AA2 and will be attempting to thrash all 7s and hopefully Radicals at Donnington on the 18th - ability permitting. Given the recent weather and being suddenly short of cash, I have bought an extortionately expensive cover from Argos for £19.99 - does anyone recommend any other covers?? This one is lined and fits fairly well.

Does anyone know where Simon keeps his AA2 manual? The single sheet of paper does not really cover things like oil filters etc - even Mr Honda has a problem!!

Hi Tim! Welcome to the most exclusive car club I know!

A cover for twenty quid looks amazing, especially when you compare it with the Ariel own brand... see www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=86904&f=79&h=0

As for manuals - are you kidding! I have a SPA dash manual that I could photocopy for you that explains how to sort out the settings. Otherwise, you'll just have to work it all out for yourself - for example, I now know that changing the oil on a Mk. 1 involves undoing the fuel delivery system! Other than oil and filters, what else were you wanting to do? I'm sure others on here can help...

Hi Tim
Yes, welcome to our very small and exclusive club, we don't meet as often as we should ,but there is still time to get a few quality outings this year. How are you getting on with your MK2 ?
