Atom 2 lap times

Hi there,

I am currently driving a Caterham R400 and seriously considering to buy the Atom 2. My concern is that I don't see many Atom 2 on track and I am questioning its performance VS the R400.

Do you have any experience and lap times?

Hi ya and welcome to being a possible Atom owner!!!!

If you have a look at Ariels web site there are some lap times from an Autocar Test at Rockingham that includes the Atom and the R400.

There is one cheat, Ariel have failed to mention the JP1 there and it was even quicker!!!! In Ariels defence the JP1 was a pure race car that they had just put plates on.

I haven't but my brothers also been uo against a R400 at Silverstone, the guy came and found us in the pits to ask where to buy one!!!

You will always get people that are in one camp or another, but I would favour the Atom if given the choice again.
