Anyone got anything lined up over the next month or so?

Would like Rockingham, Bedford, Silverstone, Castle Comb, Brands, etc (I know all local to me!).

Buy the way, anyone had a look at this?

Looks a very interesting race group that includes the Atom!

Speak soon.

Julian, how you doing ! you seem to log a message once every six months, must be busy .
I am going (hopefully) to Rockingham in the first two weeks of July, just waiting for the dates that are available, to be emailed to me then I'll let you know. Could you make it within that time period?

Julian, I have phoned Rockingham twice and emailed at least three times, they don't seem keen to keep their customers. Maybe you can give it a go, I can only make it in the first two weeks of july, then after August.

So, is anyone else coming to Goodwood on the 22nd? I'm also considering Snetterton on the 5th August.

And where have you guys got booked in the near future - we really should try and do another owners outing to a track... would a weekend be better than a weekday?

Come on Ross, you're the longest standing member of this club! You know you're always welcome to come and passenger or drive whenever you want to! Having said that - if the delivery time at the moment is 8 weeks, that means even if you ordered the new car now, you probably wouldn't get it until the middle of September, so could be taxing and insuring it for six months with hardly any road or track time. Probably best to leave it til the Spring now, then... Plus, true to form of the constant quest, Simon might have made some more tweaks by then

Thanks for that Bruce

And you know, I think that's probably the reason that I've (subconsciously) been holding back.

I don't expect them to make any radical changes but I'm sure that the extra year's development will result in a few tweaks to make it more liveable with - something that always bugged me with mine with it being such an early one.

Plus, I've been busy work wise and also had the garage floor levelled in preparation for a new Atom, only to have the cement/concrete layer not adhere to the previous surface - sure enough it cracked and I've had to take it all up and need to get that sorted again now...bollox....anyone want 20 sacks of rock?

Still at least I'll have something to look forward to for next spring over the dark months.

Im planning on running the car on its first track day on the 2nd august at Combe.

Is anyone else planning on going here?

Not sure if the car will be up to full speed as it is mainly designed to set the car up, but it will be fun.

Not hugely keen on track days with sessions as there's always a w*nker that tosses himself off the track and screws up your track time! Much prefer open pitlane... There's one on August 5th (RMA) at Snetterton that should be good fun which still has spaces. And BHP have a Coombe day on 23rd August...

I know that both these are weekdays - perhaps we could we have a vote - weekends or weekdays? I prefer weekdays as weekends I like to spend with my wife (who is rarely in the UK during the week)...

However, I would gladly attend a special gathering of lots of Atoms any day of the week!
