hi guys just to let you know im booked up for brands on 24/6 as well so i guess i might actually get to meet some of you guys. quick question bruce how loud is your atom becouse last week at goodwood mine registered 100db so im a bit worrid about booking goodwood on the 22/7 being a 98db day.i was told by simon that my car was quiter than the standard atom becouse of the supercharger.?
Mine measured 98db at Bedford, which surprised me really ,I think the rattling airbox and panels make it seem worse.
Bruce- Snetterton ,Brands and Goodwood are out for me,damn it ! would have loved to see that supercharged engine, and also to miss out on all that personal tuition from you.
Donnington seems almost a certainty

Snetterton today was perfect! Weather not too hot, a gentle breeze, open pit lane and not too many people - although quite a few on track for whom the mysteries of the rear view mirror had yet to be explained!
Only Radicals were overtaking me today.
One caution... I changed the wets for drys after a couple of outings (big difference, but more smiley sideways action on the wets!). After a couple of sessions I started to get slightly weavy as though being blown about by strong winds. Went in and found that most of the wheel nuts had come loose! Did them up again and a few sessions later had the same problem. Finally ended up doing them up as tight as I possibly could and that sorted the problem, but worth checking if you regularly change wheels... I think a gorilla might be required!
