GenII's on the increase!?

Was just chatting to the other Dave, seems that the GenII's are beginning to look like they may be on the rise...
There are very few available for sale at the moment, not sure the reason why, unless people have started to decide to hang on to them. For instance only 2 1997 GTS' on the VCA for sale, and even the cheapest of those equates to about £37k with the other higher priced one at nearly £46k!!! (Figures calculated against today's current rate of 1.65394 against the dollar, plus 10% Import duty, plus 20% VAT, plus a couple of thousand for shipping & insurance)

I did a brief search ebaymotors.com etc for prices and/or availability, and was interested to see that it appears to be much the same as what's going on on the VCA site. Dave also tells me that you could count the number of 1997 Blue & White's for sale worldwide at the moment on one hand... (2 on VCA & 3 on ebay motors, with an average price of $53,197 - Approx £44,456!!)

On ebay motors.com, there is only 107 second hand Vipers for sale, accross the board GenI through GenIV, which seems very low to me, and does make me wonder if people are beginning to hold on to them with the demise of the Viper as we know it... The next couple of years could be quite interesting from a value perspective.

simply down to the factory being closed, same thing happened when the shutdown after the gen2's getting ready for the gen3's

shortage of cars, Bernies stock is running out has dropped so the prices have gone back up

take a peek at the german autotrader website they always have 100+ vipers for sale

47 actually... blue/white GTS £45K, interestingly enough they also have one of the only other two GTS blue ACR's for £115k.

Would now be a good time to mention the skip trapping mine may be moving soon..Blue/white 97 GTS, usual mods that everyone wants. £34,000 move quick it will be £35k next week. May even sell the ACR for £115k

its does come to something when there's more vipers for sale in Germany than the US ebay

but then there's so many other websites selling vipers in the US, ill have to dig out that US site only for traders they always seem to have quite a few
