Hi all,

I am having my fluids changed but seemed a bit mixed with the right amounts.

Manchester Dodge where i am ordering fluids from says for the SRT10 GEN III

Coolant 15 liters (7.5 mix x 2), thought was less.
Gear Box 4 liters.
Diff 1.5 liters + Friction stuff.

Is that right?

Can't find thread either for how to change Diff fluids frown

Thanks a lot.

Eduardo.

For changing the diff fluid you have to suck it out of the same hole you fill it up from.

Don't suggest sucking it out using your lungs biggrin Get yourself a fluid vacuum pump from Machine Mart or your local Auto center. You should also get yourself a longer bit of plastic tube to attach to the fluid vacuum pump to ease extraction smile

I used one of these smile

Thank you,

Will follow advice smile

Did a bit more searching looks like 15l is right for coolant,

But it should be only 1.33l on Diff including the 0.125l of the friction stuff instead of 1.5l + friction stuff.

Hope that's right,

Eduardo.

don't use too much tube, that stuff is like treacle. Get the drill out and install a sump plug in the pumpkin.

Hi Guys,

Last question before fluid changes monday please,

Dodge Manchester gave me for the gear box oil Mopar 75W-90 instead of 75W-85 saying that this is the newest one.

Does that sound right? Is that ok?

Thanks.

Eduardo. GEN III SRT 10.
