... original spec Viper (red with those oh-so-90s 3 spoke wheels) or later B&W GTS?

I've actually been trying to get my grubby mits on a facelift Honda NSX targa, but it seems they are as rare as... Well probably as rare as original vipers and B&W GTSs in the UK! Why do I always want the car that's too bloody hard to find? Oddly there is commonality between these two cars: they are good looking, fast enough, very reliable (compared to Fezzas, TVRs, Lambos etc.), unique and essentially depreciation proof. Basically everything I'm looking for in my next car.

Anyway, I'm in a bit of a hurry, so if anyone is thinking of selling, please do get in touch. I saw last year there were two low mileage B&W GTSs that sold, but I hadn't sold my last car so couldn't buy back then. There was also an original viper on eBay recently, but I missed that too frown

Those fuel prices are really creeping up people - let me shoulder your burden! biggrin

my mate Chris is getting ready to sell his 1997, he's owned it for about 5 years 31,000 miles on the clock, with quite a few expensive extras installed, full sport exhaust comprising of balenger headers and a corsa cat back, later 18" wheels, autoform rear wing which bolts on/off without damaging the car, safety devices roll bar and harness'es, a load of mgw interior chromy bits and petrol cap, think its also got K&N air filter and smooth tubes into the airbox

(Lemans replica sticker can be removed)

for more details about the cars history, etc i can put you in touch with Chris

Seeing that car does make me want a rear wing... Sorry to hear this Chris, but hopefully you'll be back in the seat of a Viper at some point in the future. Best of luck mate!

its a replica, of venom500's replica wink
Chamberlains 1997, Chassis C2

the wing comes off/on in 10mins Dave, with just x4 bolts/nuts and the stabilizing struts. Chris did say he could knock it off the price and sell it seperately if that suited a new owner

Hi guys - just wanted to say a quick thanks for the prompt replies. One or two good leads to follow up on and I will keep you posted.

Chris, you're car looks amazing! Although personally I would probably take it back to standard externally - the standard viper is overt enough for me already paperbag

Cheers mate, yes hopefully get back to Viper ownership in the not too distant future
Have to say owning a Viper has been a fantastic experience, and I will be gutted to see her gofrown
Been great to get to know everyone too, (exept Neil B of course, but he is a Brummie after all!!!), the club meets have been a real good social over the years, and the help & knowledge received when needed has been much appreciated.
Big thanks to Baz for the work he has done on my car during my time, you are a legend matebow

Hopefully catch you all soon
Cheers
Chris
