The New magazine arrived today.. Just wondered if anyone had seen anything of their new membership packs as yet?

they are good arent they, you get a calander with a 1/4 of year already gone

same here - magazine yesterday with ballot (deadline march 31!) - a joke - ballot-wise.
no membership packet.

Same here, Mag arrived today, but nothing else! Seems strange as that's yet another shipping cost to pay

asked the question on the VCA and got this reply...


the membership packets were sent out a week before the magazine.
International was sent before anyone in the states so it should be there anytime.

nope noting here

But I was thinking about this myself last night. Trying to figure out when we should be worried that they are not coming given the VCA claim to have posted them out quite a while ago now. But then i thought we are still in the window if they have gone surface mail, although that would seem strange given they sent the mag priority mail.

Its always the annual anticlimax though anyway. Sit here fretting about not receiving my membership pack and "gift" then it turns up and its - oh a badge, couple of clips a sticker and something I never use. the excitement lasts all of about 2 seconds before its all cast onto the pile with the previous years never to be looked at again. I really am starting to think that if they arrived on January 2nd it would take all the fun out of it.

Sent an email earlier today to the VCA asking for an update, The reply was their in the mail

to be fair what did you expect them to say.

"oh yeah we were only kidding about posting them out" or "yep we put GPS locator's with sat phone data link and they are at 50.120578,-0.483398"

I was hoping they would have said how they sent them, where they were actually posted from and what postal service they chose to use? Or perhaps they would make enquiries with the postal service to try and find out why things are taking so long?

I got mine a few days ago, the membership cards should please the yellow lovers!
Came US postage, I guess the post office got all excited about seeing a VCA pack as they pre-opened it!
