Sounds likely to be coolant from the colour description, and the fact that you have mentioned hoses

Ok, thanks.

Will check coolant level. Just seems a bit thicker than coolant thought. Could be wrong.

IIRC Kendal Oil used to be green when it went in. Usually came out black though and hope you don't have it in you viper as its not synthetic.

I'm guessing you have ruptured the AC system when installing the oil pan. They use green/yellow fluorescent dye for leaks and if you had it in your system and ruptured the system (ie split a joint) while moving the pipework a sudden depressurisation and lightness of the oil would probably cover everything in the engine bay.

Do you have a UV light. try that and see of it lights up like a xmas tree. or does your AC work?

Hi Dave,

Took the Viper out today for a good blast after wipping the engine bay.

No liquid on bay this time, but A/C seems non existent.

Will have it looked at.

Where do you find all your Mopar fluids please (Diff, Gear, Friction mod, coolant and others please)

The car was serviced in London with Dodge but looks like the put Castrol EDGE 0W40 and not Mobile 1 and it looks like the coolant is not Mopar too.

Do you get the fluids from a Dodge dealer or else?

Thanks you son much again.

Eduardo.

anything wrong with the castrol edge, except its dearer than M1 at the moment? Dodge/Chrysler were fairly quick to drop Mobil1 in favour of Penzoil when they ran out of money recently. I guess from that you can take it that all the top brands are pretty much as good as each other.
