When we first started going to the Nürburgring more than 10 years ago now, tourist laps were only around £5 a lap. In 2002 it was €12 (£7.40) a lap, in 2011 it will be €24 ~ £20 a lap! That's a 4 fold increase in 10 years, just goes to show how popular it is now. I used to buy a 5 lap ticket which did me for the day for around £35, it's now £75 for 4 laps! I guess that's the price of fame... Top Gear have a lot to answer for!

Was reading the PH article about this yesterday... not good!

With the newly added noise restrictions I was told about after the last Germany trip, as well, it sounds like they are slowly screwing themselves into the ground...

there's always been noise restrictions as far back as i can remember at the Ring its not a recent thing at all, though its hardly ever been inforced just random checks. Maybe they reduced it
