Hi Paul, well it looks OK, but I would not take a dealers word for it frown

Research, Research, Research is the key.

Contact some local members of the VCA and see if anybody will check the car out for you and give it a test drive.

Get an additional 'CarFax' search done on the car for piece of mind.
The Stoat (Andy) uses his car as a daily driver, I'm sure you could PM him if you wanted any info on how the later model car drives and weather there are any roof leak problems to watch out for.

Good luck with your quest thumbup

And if there's any room in that container for some tyres.....Well there a lot cheaper over there wink

must admit i like the silver on a vert, just something about it
60,000 miles there got to be a few parts starting to wear that could need sorting,
but the price is right

dont think the tyres are that much cheaper Mark, just checked on tirerack a rear 18" PS2 is $440 Time youve added the UK taxes and shipping to your container

The Gen-3 and Gen-4 convertible roofs are much better than the old soft-tops of the Gen-1/2's

No leaks so far encountered!

Mine never leaked in fact other than the fact you had to turn off the engine before you could lift the boot and put the hood up in a thuderstorm on the way to Hockenheim its one of the best roofs I have had on any of my convertables.

I can keep the engine running while I raise or lower the roof. That's a 3rd generation though smile

nope its easy, x1 rear fog and side indicators in the hood gap, being a sparky it will be very easy for you to DIY

speak to Baz he's the expert at this having done loads of SVA viper/mustang prepping
