After thinking on this for a while i have decided to renew BUT only as a standard member... JUST

After the way the VCA has treated it's vendors and pushing the VPA, Even if that means pushing people away and treading on the toes of the ones that have helped build the VCA and turn it into what it is today.. I think the VCA is becoming a business rather than a club ....

Don't like the way that they delete threads because they dont like what is said even to the point of banning people... Hence the new forum VIPER GARAGE....

But that being said i have renewed today with Paul........ Who i think does a great job and does not get any reconesion from the VCA ......

Completely appreciate where you are coming from there Baz... But the £38 membership does provide a discount on insurance, if you are with the right company, as well as the magazine and use of the VCA site, so in my opinion not to be sniffed at despite the issues you've highlighted above.

Paul probably doesn't get enough recognition for what he does, but I hope he realises that his hard work is appreciated by those of us that count, here in the UK.

Really don't see the point in going Venom and paying the VCA more to get discounts from vendors that are not allowed to post.........

do you get a better discount for venom then anywhere other than the VPA. If you do then the vendors that cant post should drop that as a benefit as it would hit the VCA hard without fully withdrawing support

You are supposed to gain a higher discount for being a Venom member, unfortunately, despite spending quite a lot of money with a couple of vendors earlier this year, I am unable to say that I saw any evidence of the 'Venom Discount'... I can't say for certain that no discount of any sort was applied, but I was not advised that any had been applied despite advising that I was a Venom member. Difficult to say for certain?
