Before i consider going for bigger wheels next year, what advice is there please for sourcing the back rubber to go on them i.e. 325/ 335/ 345s for 19"? The UK choice seems to shrivel up as well as the £££ shooting up... Are there secret Costco etc 'cheapies' to be had? Do some import (expect £shipping to wreck that idea!)??
In the meantime, if anyone has a pair of 335/345 /R18s with 1/2 the tread left and not too aged going, please PM

Hey Pete, I got mine (as did Andy) from Event Tyres although I have a suspicion they were shifting old stock as they were so cheap. Actually just checking, they are currently £300 each again - bargain - get in there while they last! The 19" rears are 345 btw.

The OZ wheels are 18" Pete, speak to Joel for prices/delivery.

Tyres Richard went with are Michelin, and apparently the front wheel is slightly wider than stock so a wider width tyre was required to make it fit better.

doubt this one will work
http://www.event-tyres.co.uk/tyre-search-results.p...

but if not go here
http://www.event-tyres.co.uk

and search for 345/30R19, and 295/30R18 they list the PS2 C1, cups, and run crap for the rear and loads for the fronts but cups are in the list

nb i just checked and the ACR's run 295 on the fronts so no point looking for the cups in the usual 275 size

Hi,

Do you run the 295's on a stock 18" front wheels?

As anyone used the cups at all? Interested to know what ride you got on them. Quick wear? Does it follow road camber like the Run Flat? On wet?

Thanks,

Eduardo.

Have run 295 R888s on the 18s since 08, without problems...not sure how much this may increase aqua-planing potential.

Is that on a stock rim? What about at the back on the 19s, have they got the right size on R888 ?

What mesurement did you get on R888 295/ ? / 18
?/ ? / 19

Thanks.

Eduardo.

Thinking may be of Mich PS cups but such a small thread. Might just stick with the PS2's non run flat like everyone else.

The P zero's could be a compromize between the PS cups and the PS 2's but not sure they do a 345/30 profile, saw a 345/35. All so expensive .

Thanks.

Eduardo.
