Well I popped over today to Surrey Rolling Road with the Petrolhead Nirvana crew for a dyno day, We put the Viper on the dyno but it seemed to be running a bit rough, after the first pull it read 399 BHP! So took the car off the dyno and had a fiddle around, Found one HT lead had fallen off and another had burnt out around the insulation where it attaches to the spark plug! I cut back the HT Lead and performed a repair but the engine light was still on. So a quick phone call to the Doc was req'd, Barry's voice did not sound right down the phone and then I realised I was talking to Fishboy Turned out the Doc was paying Fishy a visit, what was even better was the Doc was on his way home and came to my rescue at Chobham
1 replacement HT Lead fitted and code reader plugged in and fault cleared, back on the rolling road and managed a more respectable 473
Big thanks to Richard and Barry, Cheers Boys

Me too hopefully... Plus will be interested to see what the addition of the Belangers last year will have done along with the Corsa... Also got a plan to do roller rockers over the winter if I can justify it and the time, so will be interesting to see what they do, as there is reasonable HP gains suggested with these.
Got a minor coolant leak at the moment which needs sorting before anything else, have a sneaky suspicion it might be the radiator but can't tell easily so a bit of work to access it is going to have to be undertaken before I can confirm that... Been looking at Alloy Rad's as an option, as they seem to be a good option to assist with better cooling, but need to confirm the problem first (can't see anything obvious from anywhere else though).

Not sure on the Ali rads, Ive read mixed reports on those in the VCA forums, you might be able to get yours rebuilt with a new core Possibly cheaper?
